Children's Author Angela Johnson is coming to Portland.  Her lyrical books celebrate African-American families, connections and relationships.  She has won over 13  awards including the Coretta Scott King Award and Ezra Jack Keats Awards.  Check out her books at the library or come see what she has to say about diversity, race and culture in schools on Oct 18th.  Tickets
